Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for General Medicine Night Shift

Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator to provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in our General Medicine Acute Care for the Elderly Unit. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice and lead safety and quality initiatives, focusing on simplifying workflow and contributing to staff development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the General Medicine Acute Care for the Elderly Unit.
- Lead safety and quality initiatives, focusing on simplifying workflow and contributing to staff development.
- Collaborate with the department manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- At least 18 months of nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current nursing license in good standing.
