Job Title: Registered Nurse, General Medicine Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working night shifts, with a 36-hour workweek (3-12 hour shifts). The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform routine checks, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
  • Registered Nurse License (VA or Compact/Multi-State).
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program or obtaining a Registered Nursing License.
