Job Title: Geotechnical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team at RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek. As a Geotechnical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited/ABET school and EIT certification. PE Registration is also required, with the ability to obtain PE licensure within 3 months of hire. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to read and understand work plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Prepare geotechnical reports for projects as per specifications
  • Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for task assignments
  • Review recommendations of Senior Engineers & Principal Consultants
  • Attend client site meetings
  • Communicate effectively with client and project teams
  • Work on one or multiple projects at a time
  • May perform on-site observations or inspections
  • Maintain and leverage client relationships and develop new project opportunities
  • Train technicians and other technical staff
  • May work in the field and laboratory regularly
