Nurse Practitioner

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Saint Peters, MO. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals, and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position in our Saint Peters, MO Health Hub, where you will provide primary and family care to patients of all ages. You will work autonomously, with the support of our clinical care team, to diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions, from routine check-ups to complex medical issues.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems
- Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests to ensure positive patient health outcomes
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, working collaboratively with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, provide patient education, and counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to the development of policies and procedures, and engage in ongoing professional development
- Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
