Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customization Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our field personnel, ensuring the smooth operation of our customization equipment and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to field personnel via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customization equipment and software issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Train field personnel on customization maintenance topics.
  • Communicate with vendors and other technicians to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage the LIDS Customization Parts Depot, including ordering, refurbishing, and replenishing parts.
  • Issue and maintain PO system for timely payment of approved orders and services.
  • Perform periodic scheduled Preventative Maintenance Sweeps to tune-up machines and teach basic maintenance to store personnel.
  • Travel to stores to perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements as needed.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in business or related field and one year relevant experience; or two-year degree in related field and two years of relevant experience; or three years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.
  • Strong understanding of retail store operations and customization machine operations and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze customization repair trends and make suggestions on changes to meet or exceed business needs.
  • Travel required for up to 75% of the yearly work schedule as needed to meet the demands of the business.
