Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen and be willing to work hard as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with cleaning and filleting fish, as well as preparing sushi and sashimi
  • Provide excellent customer service and work well under pressure
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting 50 lbs
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Food handlers certificate
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Experience in cleaning and filleting fish
  • Experience in sushi and sashimi preparation
  • Experience working in a raw bar environment
