The Quality Improvement Educator will deliver education related to Risk Adjustment and Quality to healthcare providers and support staff through various channels, including interactive learning sessions, written materials, and audits. This role requires building strong relationships with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate open communication regarding the Quality program and its elements. The educator will also conduct detailed analyses, reporting, training, and support to promote accurate clinical documentation and identify opportunities for improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Federal, State, and County regulations concerning coding and documentation standards for Risk Adjustment and Quality.
  • Organize and deliver risk adjustment training using diverse methods and media, including printed resources and digital presentations.
  • Present information professionally and tailor it to meet the needs of specific audiences.
  • Exhibit technical proficiency through the application of industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with Risk Adjustment Coders and the Manager of Risk Adjustment Auditing and Coding to address opportunities identified during reviews.
  • Encourage improvements in provider compliance with CMS guidelines.
  • Work with other departments to enhance the overall provider experience.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with various audiences based on project objectives.
  • Demonstrate effective time management, attending necessary meetings that may require travel and participation beyond standard business hours.
  • Support the risk adjustment team positively, emphasizing exceptional service to all patients and providers.

Qualifications:
