We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax and financial needs.
- Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and audit support.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and virtually using video conferencing, phone, chat, and email.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional products and services to clients and grow business revenue.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide the highest level of service to clients.
- 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
- Experience completing individual tax returns and providing tax audit support.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients in person and virtually.
- Comfort working with virtual tools and technology.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
