Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, construction defects, delay and disruption claims, and insurance coverage issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents related to construction litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Provide legal advice and consultation to clients on construction-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in construction litigation or commercial litigation with a desire to focus and develop a construction-focused practice.
  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Experience in civil litigation, including managing the discovery process and trial preparation.
  • Familiarity with legal case management and legal contract review.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining high-quality work product.
