Job Summary
The Security Architect will be responsible for overseeing Tyler Technologies' enterprise compliance with applicable regulations, frameworks, standards, and client commitments. This role will play a key part in administering and enforcing the core components of the company's Enterprise Information Security Program to ensure the security and integrity of the company's infrastructure and critical assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical leadership to ensure data, processes, and technology are designed for data protection and compliance.
- Develop and implement information security policies and procedures, as well as assist with related security awareness programs for end-users and technical staff.
- Oversee the development, evaluation, and implementation of governance and compliance processes to mitigate cybersecurity risk and protect company assets and information.
- Standardize and streamline annual and ad-hoc information security audits and assessments in compliance with FedRAMP, CJIS, SSAE-18 SOC 1, and SOC 2, and other requirements as necessary.
- Assist in coordinating third-party assessments when relevant.
- Monitor and enforce compliance to security policies.
- Assist with contract and vendor management issues related to security requirements and projects.
- Research and interpret current and pending laws, regulations, industry standards, and client and vendor commitments to understand and communicate compliance requirements.
- Monitor investigations and documentation of information security compliance issues.
- Provide leadership and technology guidance to Tyler business units on security matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, MIS, or equivalent experience.
- Desired certifications include (ISC) CISSP, ISACA CISA, ISACA CISM, or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
- The Security Architect must be able to understand information security concepts, translate security control language, possess knowledge of common information security and privacy frameworks, and perform process development and optimization at an enterprise level.
