Job Summary

FSA Federal is seeking a highly skilled Asset Forfeiture Specialist to support the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) in its mission to remove the tools of crime from criminal organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Review and Evaluation: Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of data and information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Case File Management: Accurately enter required data into databases, documents, or spreadsheets, and create case/project files.
  • Validation and Verification: Manage validation and verification of case files and case data system to ensure compliance with established deadlines.
  • Information Management: Select relevant information from various sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries.
  • Communication: Provide accurate and timely status updates, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree, or High School Diploma/GED and two-years' experience, with one-year experience in asset forfeiture or a field related to law enforcement.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstratable project and workload management skills, excellent communication skills, and competence to review, interpret, evaluate, and extract data and information from complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skills with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, and ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition.
