Job Summary

Oriana House is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and repairs of our facilities and equipment. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in maintenance operations and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Operations: Ensure the safe and timely upkeep and repairs of Agency facilities and equipment in accordance with Agency and/or program policies and procedures.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the development of preventative maintenance schedules for facilities and properly perform the tasks in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document all maintenance functions and inventory of maintenance supplies and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspections and Compliance: Inspect facility on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure compliance with federal, state and local codes and regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Oversees delivery and installation of equipment and maintenance supplies, obtains and reviews quotes from outside vendors, and provides oversight of work completed by vendors.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Attends administrative and program meetings as directed by supervisor, attends staff meetings and required training sessions, and effectively works with Agency employees and outside contacts.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Two (2) years demonstrated advanced trade skills such as carpentry, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, and painting required.
  • Cognitive Skills: Must have the cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem solving, and comprehending.
  • Working Conditions: Must have the ability to perform under stress and/or in emergencies.
