This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.

Position Summary

The Waitperson is responsible for the set-up, delivery and clean-up of the meal period for which he/she is responsible. The Waitperson is also responsible for providing service in a friendly and congenial manner.

About Eskaton Gold River

Eskaton Gold River is a picturesque senior living community consisting of 55 assisted living units, 23 memory care units and 17 pre-memory care units. Our staff focuses on wellness, nutrition and socialization to enhance the life experience of each resident.

Our Dietary Department

We offer desirable shifts on a regular weekly schedule, and our teams work together to prepare and serve gourmet meals for our residents in a collaborative, welcoming and positive environment. Our dietary staff also get to enjoy their evenings as shifts are finished by 8:00 PM.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D., preferred.
  • Training and Experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service establishment preferred. California Food Handler.
  • Job Knowledge: Understanding of the philosophy of quality customer service and satisfaction.

The final candidate must successfully pass Eskaton's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, COVID test, TB screen test and health screen.
