We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician at Certified Laboratories. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, ensuring the safety and quality of our products, and providing exceptional support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, wiping, scrubbing, sanitizing, washing, and picking up as required to keep the laboratory, grounds, and equipment clean and sanitary.
- Sanitation and Disinfecting: Ensure all equipment, processing areas, and support areas are properly sanitized and disinfected according to established procedures.
- Supply Management: Refill supplies as needed, ensure building is visitor-ready each day, and maintain inventory reports and logs.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient utilization of time and resources.
- Quality and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, company policies, and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Physical Demands: Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other communications/computer components; potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens; noise level varies from quiet to loud; temperature varies from hot to cold; regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
