About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Miller's Merry Manor. As a Mechanical Engineer for Robotic Systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robotic systems for emerging and existing welding automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify system layout drawings for sales and marketing support
  • Integrate new features into existing products as needed
  • Address warranty claims promptly and efficiently
  • Receive and respond to requests for system layout drawings and 3D models
  • Create and modify manufacturing drawings from existing SolidWorks part and assembly models
  • Create new part and assembly models
  • Use simulation software to conduct basic reach studies to determine correct component placement for system design concepts
  • Study sales load requests against standard product specifications to determine feasibility and make recommendations on appropriate standard products
  • Conduct testing and record results for new designs
  • Modify current product and service manuals from written or verbal instructions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, 5+ years' experience preferred
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling, SolidWorks, and PDM preferred
