About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist at AdventHealth North Pinellas, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic imaging procedures, positioning patients and equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Screen patients for contrast allergies and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed.
  • Assist with patient care duties, including monitoring patient condition, maintaining patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as answering phones, completing patient records, and scheduling appointments.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent two years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Science program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A.R.R.T. registration.
  • General Radiographer state license as required by state if applicable.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $30.16. The schedule includes day shifts and weekends as needed. The ability to commute to Tarpon Springs, FL is required.
