SSM Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. Anthony Hospital - Shawnee, OK Seminole Campus. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing a variety of imaging exams used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in the department.
- Credentialed in echo sonography and one other general area of sonography.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- A competitive pay range starting at $32.45 per hour.
- Daily pay available.
- Shift differentials available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
- Relocation assistance available for those who qualify.
