At Heart Hospital of Austin, we are seeking a skilled Imaging Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient operation of our radiology department.Responsibilities
- Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery and efficient completion of diagnostic and interventional studies.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with current clinical nursing practice.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of nursing experience required.
- 2 years of critical care or imaging experience preferred.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
