Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at DoubleTree Portland Tigard. As a Room Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Guest Rooms: Wipe all surfaces, dust, and vacuum each guest room to meet our brand standards.
  • Restock Guest Room Supplies: Change linens, make beds, and restock all guest room supplies.
  • Ensure Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean bathrooms, remove trash, and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service: Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
  • Meet Room Cleaning Goals: Clean multiple rooms each day.
  • Support Maintenance Team: Report any broken, defective, or missing items.
  • Collaborate with Hotel Teams: Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Requirements
  • Previous Cleaning or Customer Service Experience: A plus, but not required.
  • Basic Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds.
  • Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
