Job Description:

As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering radiation treatments according to physician prescription and treatment record. This includes displaying competency in stereotactic and emergency treatment procedures, operating specialized technologies for advanced treatment techniques, and maintaining pre-treatment and treatment records.

  • Maintain daily treatment schedule, including new starts and special procedures in coordination with physician schedules.
  • Initiate charges and perform billing audits and checks weekly.
  • Instruct/supervise radiation therapy technology students.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • New graduates are acceptable.
  • Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a radiation therapist.
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy.
  • BLS certification prior to patient contact.
