Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families using the Family Centered Treatment model.
  • Provide intensive, time-sensitive mental health support to children and adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement.
  • Develop and implement personalized, comprehensive treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience through crisis intervention, stabilization, behavioral counseling, skill development, advocacy, and medication management.
  • Focus treatment interventions on the behaviors and interactions of the child/adolescent, caregiver, and family, aiming for family preservation.
  • Engage with families in their communities, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling to accommodate their needs.
  • Utilize strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field is required.
  • At least two years of experience working with youth or families.
  • Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.
  • State-specific requirements include:
    • For NC, VA - QMHP or ability to register as a QMHP.
    • For MS - Must be provisionally credentialed as a PCSS in Mississippi with eligibility for full CCSS credentialing.
