Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance & Operations - Program Manager to oversee various phases of projects related to educational facilities. This role requires effective management of pre-construction, bidding, construction, and project close-out activities. The Program Manager will ensure compliance with budgetary and scheduling standards set by the School District.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of project phases, including pre-construction, bidding, construction, and close-out.
  • Review and provide feedback on pre-construction documents.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
  • Coordinate with public agencies and project staff to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules to meet quality standards.
  • Supervise contractor activities and review construction schedules.
  • Evaluate contractor change order proposals and negotiate fair pricing.
  • Monitor payments to contractors and related parties.
  • Administer Professional Service Agreements with architects.
  • Facilitate the delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Ensure project close-out aligns with certification requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in Project/Construction Management for commercial or public educational facilities.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects.
  • Knowledge of the Division of State Architects (DSA) certification process.
