Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, assisting customers with roadside services, and providing preventative maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.
  • Assist customers with roadside services, providing a positive experience and ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and drivers from all over, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of customers.
  • Work a rotating schedule, alternating between day and night shifts as needed.
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's).
