Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide PC operating system, software application support, hardware, and minimal network support to all end users, following Help Desk procedures.
- Assessment and Recommendations: Assess users' needs and make recommendations to the Helpdesk/Desktop Lead and Level 2 staff on hardware platforms and PC software applications to meet required needs.
- Installation and Maintenance: Install the operating system and all software applications on new PCs, and maintain documentation on all PCs in the hospital and satellite offices.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure the optimal performance of our computer systems and networks.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, team members, and visitors, ensuring that their technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience in PC support break/fix, with the ability to handle some troubleshooting issues with telecommunications.
- Skills: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal; knowledge of basic computer programs; ability to keep confidential information regarding patients, team members; and ability to withstand crisis situations.
