We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize food carts, trays, and kitchen equipment to ensure a high level of cleanliness and safety.
- Deliver food carts to nursing stations and maintain a clean cafeteria.
- Perform a variety of duties on the trayline, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning food carts, and scraping trays.
- Keep refrigerators and sinks clean, and maintain shelves, refrigerators, and freezers in a clean and neatly stocked manner.
- Dispose of garbage and maintain restrooms in the cafeteria in a clean and sanitized manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
This is a short-hour position, working 16 hours per week. The schedule will include nights and weekends. Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
