Position Summary
ITS is currently seeking a Reliability Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic team in the Dayton area. This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $125,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate intricate reliability challenges and devise cost-efficient solutions to enhance equipment performance, applying failure analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement to refine work standards by managing structured job orders and overseeing the procurement of necessary materials and components.
- Oversee the inventory management and procurement of spare parts for operational facilities.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and external contractors on work orders, ensuring clarity in scope, labor, and materials, while managing the execution and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
- Track and report on the financial progress of significant projects, providing updates to site leadership regarding costs and timelines.
- Coordinate with production teams to develop a job order schedule that minimizes both planned and unplanned downtime, ensuring timely execution of preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Work closely with operations to assess maintenance support needs for production and manage contractors to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations.
- Monitor and report on maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor, engaging with maintenance staff, operators, engineers, and leadership to gain insights into operational conditions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive background in electro-mechanical maintenance with industrial equipment.
- Proficient in project management and planning.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and CNC programming is advantageous.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD software is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in reporting.
- Knowledge of failure analysis and continuous improvement principles.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma with a minimum of ten years of reliability experience.
- Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with at least seven years of reliability experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with five or more years of reliability experience.
