Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism and their families thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to children with autism, using the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to promote comprehensive growth and development.
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, ensuring fidelity to Soar's model and upholding the principles of ESDM.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
- Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
- Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to children and families.
