About the Role

As a Realty Project Coach at Walmart, you will play a critical role in the success of our retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the progress of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead the implementation of Realty execution project plans, owning and having accountability for ensuring the scope of work is completed.
  • Project Coordination: Organize project timelines and deliverables, facilitating meetings with stakeholder teams to communicate project plans and deliverables.
  • Problem-Solving: Take corrective action as necessary to drive project results, identifying and ensuring associate, customer, and supplier concerns are resolved.
  • Team Leadership: Direct associates and vendors on process and procedures for project execution and review of modular plans to ensure project and facility requirements and goals are met.
  • Merchandise Management: Plan merchandise placement based on modular requirements, collaborating with facility management to establish phasing plans that minimize the impact to operations.
  • Associate Development: Advise on the assignment of additional staff to assist in ensuring company and facility goals are met, providing supervision and development opportunities for associates.
  • Quality Control: Ensure merchandise is in-stock and displayed in a timely, accurate, and safe manner, equipment and fixtures are correctly installed, and operational, merchandising, and personnel guidelines are implemented.
  • Financial Management: Monitor sales and project budgets, assessing the economic and customer experience impacts of project decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years' experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to any work location within 1000 miles of home store region, with mileage reimbursed.
  • Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts and consecutive overnight stays.
