Job Summary

The Colville Tribes is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with their assessment, care plan, and as directed by the Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certificate as a Nursing Assistant Certified required.
  • Current 1st Aid/CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language required.
  • Ability to relate clear and concise information concerning a resident's condition required.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties independently and with supervision required.
  • Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry said weight a minimum of 50 feet required.

Working Conditions

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a long-term care setting, providing care to residents with varying levels of need. The ideal candidate will be able to work well as a member of the healthcare team and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
