Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Colville Tribes. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their assessment, care plan, and as directed by the DNS or Charge Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the DNS or Charge Nurse.
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Requirements
- Requires a High School diploma or GED and six to twelve months of experience.
- Requires a Current certificate as a Nursing Assistant Certified.
- Requires a Current 1st Aid/CPR certification and be able to perform CPR.
- Requires a TB Test as a condition of employment with a negative result or obtain test within 15 days of employment.
Working Conditions
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a long-term care setting and will be required to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry said weight a minimum of 50 feet.
