Role Overview:

The Assistant Program Manager (APM) will act on behalf of the Contractor in the absence of the Program Manager (PM), providing adjudication support to Federal Adjudicators for suitability and national security recommendations, in accordance with relevant Executive Orders, U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, and established policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the PM's representative in daily operations and act as a liaison with SecD UC.
  • Assume the PM role during their absence or when the position is temporarily vacant.
  • Assist in managing and overseeing the administrative and daily operations of the program.
  • Act as an assistant to the lead on the BPA and facilitate communication between the Government and the Contractor.
  • Proactively identify and address issues within the Contractor's team and between the Contractor and various Government customers.
  • Participate in regular meetings with Government customers to discuss workload, contract performance, and emerging issues.
  • Prepare necessary contractual and programmatic reports.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure services and products are delivered on budget and schedule.
  • Oversee project personnel and ensure timely delivery of reports and other deliverables.
  • Formulate and enforce work plans to ensure effective performance.
  • Coordinate with Government customers regarding work schedules.
  • Review and address work discrepancies.
  • Supervise Contractor personnel and communicate organizational policies and goals.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance.
  • Track incoming Contractor personnel and provide weekly status reports to Government customers.
  • Coordinate manpower and resources, ensuring quality control programs are consistently applied.

Qualifications:

  • Current TS security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access, including passing a security CI polygraph exam.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of Federal Law Enforcement experience, with ten (10) years of experience in managing tasks and supervising personnel, including human resources and personnel security.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in managing or performing responsibilities similar to those outlined in this description.
  • Prior experience as a federal employee with the FBI is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory experience with the FBI.
  • Experience in security management.
  • Familiarity with performance management.
  • Experience in data analytics and developing KPIs/Metrics.
  • Advanced degree in any field is preferred.
