Therapist - In-Home and Office

This is a hybrid position that requires working with clients in both in-home and office settings. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, individuals, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct service to children, adolescents, and families, identifying and intervening with their needs.
- Complete intake and assessment, providing accurate information necessary for treatment and billing.
- Design and implement treatment plans that promote healthy attachment, self-regulation, independence, impulse-control, decision-making skills, and social responsibility/empathy.
- Collaborate with other team members, including education, care managers, behavioral assistants, clinicians, and physicians.
- Provide telephone counseling for emergencies, both during and outside of office hours.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
- Valid, current NJ license (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT, LAC).
- Two or more years of experience in counseling children.
- Three or more years of experience in mental health.
- Experience in providing treatment to individuals with serious emotional problems.
- Ability to effectively use DSM.
- Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to make sound clinical judgments and follow complex directions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Understanding of child development and individual and family functioning.
- Experience in providing child abuse treatment.
- Background and experience in expressive/art therapy, and/or play therapy.
