About the Role:

This is a hybrid position that requires working with clients in their homes and in our office. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team of caring professionals who are committed to improving the lives of children, individuals, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct service to children, adolescents, and families in their homes and in our office.
Identify and intervene with the needs of abused and neglected children and adults.
Complete intake and assessment, providing complete and accurate information necessary for treatment and billing.
Design and implement treatment plans that promote healthy attachment, self-regulation, independence, impulse-control, decision-making skills, and social responsibility/empathy.

Requirements:

Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
Valid, current NJ license (LCSW, LPC, LSW, LMFT, LAC).
Two or more years of experience in counseling children.
Three or more years of experience in mental health.
Ability to effectively use DSM.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of child development, individual and family functioning.
Experience in providing child abuse treatment.
Background and experience in expressive/art therapy, and/or play therapy (filial, theraplay, child-centered, PCIT, MIM relationship assessment, DIR Floortime, TFCBT, PCRT, ACT, Ecosystemic).
