About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our team at Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and medical information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany physicians during patient visits and record accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Create and review medical charts to ensure accuracy and completeness, adhering to established practice guidelines.
  • Assist in completing charts by transcribing results of patient and doctor consultations, including diagnosis, discharge instructions, prescriptions, and follow-up appointments.
  • Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the practice manager or physician, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Daytime availability during weekdays, 8am-5pm
  • Passion for healthcare and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Highly motivated and experience-driven individual with strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy is preferred
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM and expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments
  • Suitable bedside manner and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compensation

Competitive hourly rate of $11-13 per hour, based on experience and availability.
