As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy department. You will also be responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers, as well as leading training and performance management of the team. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating with the pharmacy team, relaying messages from the support center, and participating in key store/pharmacy meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pharmacy workflow and ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
  • Lead training and performance management of the team.
  • Communicate with the pharmacy team and relay messages from the support center.
  • Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
