Audiologist Position at St. Luke's

Job Summary:
St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist at St. Luke's, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry, speech reception threshold, and speech discrimination.
- Perform tympanometry, acoustic reflex threshold testing, and reflex decay testing.
- Conduct brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing to identify hearing loss and rule out retrocochlear pathology.
- Conduct infant hearing screening using the BAER screener and/or otoacoustic emissions.
- Conduct electronystagmography.
- Conduct industrial audiometry, including on-site sound level measurement as needed.
- Interpret test results and communicate them to patients, family members, physicians, and other agencies as appropriate.
- Recommend further testing, medical follow-up, or rehabilitation based on test results.
- Counsel patients regarding rehabilitation and habilitation options.
- Provide hearing aid services, including comparative evaluation, probe tube assessment, hearing aid delivery and orientation, follow-up, and maintenance.
- Refer patients to other services within SLH or outside agencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctorate degree in audiology from an accredited institution.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association desired.
- Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey license in audiology.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
