Clinical Audiologist

At St. Luke's Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and improving access to healthcare services. As a Clinical Audiologist, you will play a vital role in our team by providing diagnostic, rehabilitative, and habilitative services for individuals with auditory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry, speech reception threshold, and speech discrimination.
- Perform tympanometry, acoustic reflex threshold testing, and reflex decay testing.
- Conduct brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing to identify hearing loss and rule out retrocochlear pathology.
- Provide infant hearing screening using the BAER screener and/or otoacoustic emissions.
- Interpret test results and communicate them to patients, family members, or physicians as needed.
- Recommend further testing, medical follow-up, or rehabilitation based on test results.
- Counsel patients on rehabilitation and habilitation options.
- Provide hearing aid services, including comparative evaluation, probe tube assessment, hearing aid delivery, and orientation.
- Refer patients to other services or agencies as needed.
- Master's degree in audiology from an accredited institution.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent.
- Pennsylvania license in audiology.
- Current CPR certification.
