We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.

**Job Summary:**
The Medical Assistant performs various tasks and procedures related to patient care and administrative duties. You will work under the supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform patient care tasks and procedures as delegated by the medical staff
* Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and employees
* Develop realistic action plans and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with the medical staff
* Utilize resources effectively and efficiently to achieve quality patient care

**Requirements:**
* High School Diploma required
* Certification/Licensure: CCMA, CMA, RMA, EMT-B, EMT-A, or Paramedic certification required
* No experience required
