We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team at AvantStay. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vacation rental properties in the designated area.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Area Manager in all day-to-day operational activities, including auditing properties, managing supplies, and responding to guest concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure a Superior Guest Experience by conducting regular property inspections, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with guests and property owners.
- Collaborate with the In-Market Team to ensure efficient and effective operations, including training, coaching, and evaluating the performance of other field operations personnel.
- Monitor and Resolve Guest or Homeowner Issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues within designated timeframes.
- Exercise Independent Judgment in identifying and addressing quality assurance concerns, taking appropriate action to address issues and assign rectification duties to other field operations personnel.
- Perform Administrative Duties to support daily operations, including coordinating housekeeping and routine rental maintenance tasks, ensuring inventory levels of consumables and linens, and conducting regular property inspections.
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
- Vacation rental industry experience preferred.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint); knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules to meet business needs.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
- Ability to spend a majority of working time standing, walking, and driving to properties.
- Excellent self-management skills and ability to prioritize and deliver work to meet tight deadlines.
- Responsiveness via internal communication channels.
- Annual starting salary of $59,000 (or prevailing minimum exempt salary) + performance bonus, dependent on skills and experience.
