Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Marietta, GA. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing diagnostic exams according to department procedures.

  • Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs.
  • Provide safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing diagnostic exams according to department procedures.
  • Independently perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment.
  • Set up imaging equipment and position patients for procedures.
  • Act as a clinical coordinator and instructor for imaging students.
  • Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions before exams.
  • Administer contrast medias safely and ensure proper patient ID during studies.
  • Review radiographic images for acceptable results and manage patient care accordingly.
  • Respond to emergency situations and ensure the maintenance of life support equipment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to imaging students and fill out evaluations.
  • Demonstrate competence in sterile techniques, venipuncture (where applicable), and age-specific patient care.
  • Adjust equipment and technique to minimize radiation exposure to patients.
  • Participate in the orientation and training of departmental employees.
  • Consistently produce high-quality images and ensure all studies are sent to PACS.
  • Restock linens and supplies, maintain cleanliness of imaging services, and manage patient transportation.
  • Maintain individual productivity and comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Perform clerical and support duties as required to ensure service continuity.
