Medical Assistant Opportunity at Cleveland Clinic

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at South Pointe Hospital. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and medication administration.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment by maintaining equipment, supplies, and examination areas.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience.
  • Medical Assisting certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) are preferred.
