About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Apex Dermatology & Skin Surgery Center LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, charts, and documents
  • Conduct vital signs, take medical histories, and update patient information
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling correspondence
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting; dermatology experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
