Job Summary:
Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
- Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
- Perform a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physicians.
- Specific duties and responsibilities will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
- If employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, RMA or CMA must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified as a Medical Assistant.
Work Schedule:
7:30am-4pm
