Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct Receiving Inspections (RI) for incoming materials, sub-assemblies, PCBs, and PCBAs.

· Verify the completeness of supplier First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

· Ensure that Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and material certifications meet drawing specifications.

· Perform visual inspections of products.

· Execute basic dimensional inspections.

· Carry out In-process Quality Assurance (IPQA) during production runs.

· Review Detailed Process Procedure (DPP) work instructions.

· Validate assembly and testing processes according to DPP & Job Travelers.

· Conduct Final Visual Inspections and confirm the completeness of build documentation.

· Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

· Engage with customers during Source Inspections.

· Archive and digitize all relevant build documentation and records.

· Document defects, initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and manage Non-Conforming products.

· Inspect Returned Material Authorizations (RMAs).

· Report findings and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

· Prepare necessary delivery documentation.

· Complete applicable forms as required.

· Participate in cross-functional training as necessary.

· Provide support to the QA/PA Manager and Quality team.

Supervisory Duties

This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as laptops and photocopiers.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to communicate effectively. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The role may necessitate lifting 20 lbs. or more and standing on a stool as needed. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week. Typical office hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, though these hours may vary based on workload and managerial discretion. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Travel Requirements

No travel is anticipated for this position.

Required Qualifications

· U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

· Residence in Colorado.

· High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

· Minimum of three years of experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 standards or equivalent.

· Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T.

· Ability to interpret basic electrical schematics.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to adhere to procedures and standards.

· Experience in visual inspection using microscopes.

· Familiarity with Calipers, micrometers, height stands, pin, and thread gauges.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

· Quick learner with the ability to be trained.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.

· Familiarity with CMM, optical comparators, and smart scopes.

· Certification in IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610.

· Experience with internal audits.

· Skills in technical writing.

· Training in GD&T.
