Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at FIRST RF, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the engineering and manufacturing of advanced technologies, specifically in antennas and radio frequency (RF) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits and support AS9100 audits and customer surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their quality management systems.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to prevent defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues.
  • Lead Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to drive closure to nonconformances and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Review and approve detailed process procedures, acceptance test procedures, and other quality-related documents.
  • Conduct in-process quality assurance to validate manufacturing builds and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Prepare and present quality-related reports to management and customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in AS9100 QMS work environment.
  • Familiarity with PCB, PCBA, Cable & Harness, and J-STD-001 certified.
  • Strong understanding of IPC-A-600, 610, 620 standards and mechanical and dimensional GD&T.
  • CMM experience and ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Working Environment:

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week, with 10% travel or as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
