Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, managing the engineering team, and developing and executing engineering strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of engineering projects.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of mechanical systems and processes.
  • Manage and optimize PLC programming, HMI, and VFD.
  • Ensure all engineering activities and processes comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the engineering budget, ensuring all projects are financially viable and cost-effective.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering team, providing constructive feedback and implementing training programs as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering trends and technologies, implementing them into operations where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7+ years' experience in an engineering management position.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, project management, and engineering design.
  • Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, and VFD.
  • Strong knowledge of automation and engineering software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong budget management skills, with the ability to plan and manage engineering projects within financial constraints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make effective decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts and processes.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest engineering trends and technologies.
