Mobile Vascular Ultrasound Specialist

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations in various settings. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to different work environments.
Job Details
- Work Schedule: Varying 5x8 hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Weekend Requirement: 1-2 weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM.
- On-Call Requirement: Weekday on-call is required 1-2 times per week, from 5:30 PM to 9 PM.
- Daily Caseload: Expect to perform 8-10 studies per day.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- First-Time Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis.
- Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
- Emergency Response: Participation in emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 1 year of experience is required.
- BLS Certification: Required.
- National Certifications: Must possess ARRT (S) or (VS), ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT), or CCI (RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)).
Schedule Information
- 5x8 hour shifts.
- Shifts are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Weekend shifts required 1-2 weekends per month.
- On-call responsibilities are included.
- Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
Unit Specific Information
- Floating Requirement: Yes, to sister facilities as needed.
- Daily Caseload: 8-10 studies per technician.
Additional Details
- Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate.
- All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.
