As a Cloudflare Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs, builds, and supports large-scale, customer-facing systems that push the boundaries of what is possible at Cloudflare's edge computing platform.

What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to design and build large-scale systems
- Drive projects from idea to release, delivering solutions at all layers of the software stack
- Interact with various programming languages and technologies, including Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, GraphQL, Rust, and C++
Requirements:
- 2+ years professional software engineering experience
- Experience using Cloudflare Workers or Pages
- Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience working in frontend frameworks such as React
- Experience with SQL and common relational database systems such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Kubernetes or similar deployment tools
- Product mindset and comfortable talking to customers and partners
- Experience delivering projects end-to-end - gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, implementing, testing, and releasing
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to participate in on-call shifts
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Go, C++, or Rust
- Experience with metrics and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience scaling systems to meet increasing performance and usability demands
- Knowledge of OAuth and building integrations with third-parties
- Has managed interns or mentored junior engineers
Earnings: Estimated $140,000 annually based on industry standards and location (Austin, TX; Lisbon, Portugal; London, UK)

The Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI) department is responsible for building new and bold products within Cloudflare. This team leverages Cloudflare's edge and network capabilities to deliver innovative tools and products to customers.
