Job Title: Equities Business Manager

We are seeking an experienced business manager to support the growth of our US Equities business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Equities management team to drive business planning and strategy.
  • Partner with Business Heads to implement strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, client strategy, and business optimization.
  • Oversee the review and improvement of front-to-back trading workflows and systems to optimize business operations.
  • Represent the business with support functions, including operations, technology, finance, risk, and legal/compliance, to ensure effective operations.
  • Develop meaningful analysis to inform management's strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Equities sales/trading or strategy/business management at a leading investment bank.
  • Deep knowledge of equities and derivatives products, trading, and business workflows, with a preference for Equity derivatives, convertibles, and swaps.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-divisional projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and analytical individual with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically in a dynamic work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or Series 7/57/4 being desirable.

Jefferies offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $250,000, as well as an annual discretionary incentive and retention bonus, competitive employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
