Job Description:
Baptist Health, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in the 2C Neuro Progressive Care Unit. As an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, you will provide delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:
The Neuro Unit is a state-of-the-art facility specializing in neuroscience nursing for adult patients with acute primary neurological diagnoses. With excellent ratios (3-4:1) and 24/7 leadership, including a stroke coordinator, our unit provides top-notch care for patients with conditions such as ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, TIAs, seizure/epilepsy, degenerative disorders, autoimmune disorders, and central nervous system disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide delegated patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements:
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required
  • High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
